What is set at the moment

This website sets no cookies of its own. It loads no analytics, no advertising scripts, no social media embeds and no tracking of any kind. Fonts and images are served from this site rather than from an external service.

The map on the clinic page

There is one exception, and it only happens if you allow it. The clinic page can show an interactive Google map of the practice. If you choose “allow the Google map”, here or in the banner, the map loads as soon as you open that page. If you choose “essential only”, or make no choice, the page shows the address and a link to Google Maps instead, with a button to load the map just then.

When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and the fact that you were on that page, and sets its own cookies in your browser. Those are Google’s cookies, governed by Google’s terms rather than the practice’s, and the practice cannot see them or switch them off for you. Your browser’s own settings for third-party cookies apply to them in the usual way.

This happens on the clinic page only. Every other page on this site loads nothing from anyone else.

The one thing that is stored

Your choice is recorded in your browser’s local storage under the key rs-consent-maps-v1. That single value exists only to remember what you chose so you are not asked again. It contains nothing that identifies you, it is never sent to a server, and it is cleared when you clear your browser data or press “clear my choice”.

Measurement

Nothing measures your visit. If the practice ever adds a tool to understand which pages are useful, it will be a separate choice from the map, asked for before it runs, and this page will name the provider and set out every cookie it uses, what each one is for and how long it lasts.

Change your choice

Choosing essential only does not limit anything on this site. The address and a link to Google Maps are always on the clinic page, and the map is one press away.
